Pyrton Parish Council Planning for the future of the parish
Consultation Open 5 May – 16 June 2017
Pyrton would like to invite all relevant statutory consultation authorities and other interested parties from the wider community to make comment on our neighbourhood plan. The consultation period begins Friday 5 May, 2017 and will conclude on Friday 16 June. During this period, display copies will be available in the Pyrton Village Hall and St Mary’s Church located in the heart of the village. In addition, the neighbourhood plan can be viewed on our website www.pyrton.org by following the link to ‘Pyrton Neighbourhood Plan’.
All comments are welcome! Provide us your feedback by:
Thank you for your time in reviewing the plan and offering comment.
Providence Land have applied for outline permission to build 100 houses (effectively doubling the size of Pyrton) in our parish and a ‘relief road’ (linking the B4009 with Pyrton Lane).
Their full scheme for an alternative road linking the B4009 to the Cuxham Road relies on further sites coming forward (see their ‘Case for a Relief Road’) and considerably more development.
Pyrton Parish Council have submitted a letter of objection to SODC, you can read it here 160915-land-off-pyrton-lane_pyrton-parish-council
We urgently need everyone in the parish to comment on this application online and write a letter to SODC (see ‘Local News’ for more information) that expresses how this development will personally affect you.
The deadline is the 30th September.

A questionnaire has been sent to all households to provide an opportunity for everyone to give their initial views and opinions regarding how they would like to see the future of the parish. If you have not received one or would like another so other members of your household can also have their say, please contact John Curtis on 01491 612039 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Any questions contact John or Luke Vallins from Terence O’Rourke (02036646755 / email@example.com)

Terence O’Rourke has been invited to work with the parish of Pyrton, to guide and inform
it during the preparation of a neighbourhood plan for Pyrton. The neighbourhood plan area will cover the extent of the parish boundary.
